FAR & NEAR
One of our chief pleasures is traveling
around our own wonderful country and overseas to visit others. Retirement
has now made it possible for us to do more traveling in the future. So,
watch out.....................we may show up at your place!

Anyone thinking of coming to Australia?
Don't forget there are great places to visit in Australia that are
south of Sydney and Queensland. Victoria
has a wonderful variety of things to see and do from gorgeous beaches to
mountain scenery, historical towns, craft markets, antiques, Australian
native flora and fauna. Melbourne,
the capital of Victoria is a beautiful city which has been dubbed 'the
most livable city in the world' and also has been called the 'shopping
capital of Australia'.

Here are some pics of some of my favourite
sights in Melbourne. I took them one day I recently spent wandering
around the Central Business District while waiting to have my car serviced.
I forgot to take my camera, so bought a disposable camera for these pics.
Some of them are a little fuzzy, but maybe that adds to the effect?
