Carren from Ohio sent me these suggestions for eating out in her area.......
Well if you ever visit Columbus Ohio, USA or the surrounding area I recommend the following:
Mauger's Seafood est 1898 -- Lancaster, Ohio -- They have fresh seafood (as fresh as one canget when not living on a coast). Each dish is prepared seperately, can take a good while toget your food, but is it ever delicious! I heartily recommend the mushroom salad and thebroiled seafood platter. Informal dress, reservations recommended. (614)654-8237. Visit their fish market while you are there.
BW3 - Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck - Another Columbus original. (now with at least 30 stores mostly on college campuses) Started by 3 guys on the campus of the Ohio State University. "Buffalo" (as in New York) style chicken wings are their signature item, available in a variety of flavors. Try the buffalo chips (round cottage fries), celery with bleu cheese dressing. If you like burgers have one on a weck (bun). Tuesdays are 20 cent wing day. Have a beer and some wings...yum!
Not something you can eat....but
visit the only true Y bridge in the world. In the town
where I grew up, Zanesville,
Ohio. If anyone tells you to go to the middle of the bridge
and turn left or right...trust
em.
