EATING OUT INTERNATIONALLY

Carren from Ohio sent me these suggestions for eating out in her area.......

Well if you ever visit Columbus Ohio, USA or the surrounding area I recommend the following:

Mauger's Seafood est 1898 -- Lancaster, Ohio -- They have fresh seafood (as fresh as one canget when not living on a coast).  Each dish is prepared seperately, can take a good while toget your food, but is it ever delicious!  I heartily recommend the mushroom salad and thebroiled seafood platter.  Informal dress, reservations recommended. (614)654-8237.  Visit their fish market while you are there.

Max & Ermas -- many, started in Columbus, Ohio.  An eatery with a menu to please everyone in your party.  Famous for their burgers and seasoned fries.  Fix yourself a sundae in the Sundae tub (an old fashioned bathtub full of sweet goodies).  I love their Teriyaki Sesame Chicken Wings.  Casual Dress.  Look at all the nostalgia from years past cluttering the walls.

BW3 - Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck - Another Columbus original. (now with at least 30 stores mostly on college campuses)  Started by 3 guys on the campus of the Ohio State University. "Buffalo" (as in New York) style chicken wings are their signature item, available in a variety of flavors.  Try the buffalo chips (round cottage fries), celery with bleu cheese dressing.  If you like burgers have one on a weck (bun).  Tuesdays are 20 cent wing day. Have a beer and some wings...yum!

Not something you can eat....but visit the only true Y bridge in the world.  In the town
where I grew up, Zanesville, Ohio.   If anyone tells you to go to the middle of the bridge
and turn left or right...trust em.

        Visit Carren's Cottage

Keira from Canberra, A.C.T., Australia offers us this suggestion:
If you like good value Italian food, Marinetti's in O'Connor Canberra is
        great for food and value.

        Another good Aussie/Italian restaurant ................
Kenny & Lulu, from Melbourne offer this suggestion. We'll be checking this one out, for sure!
The Golden Lobster - Lygon Street Melbourne.  They say, "Simple but really fantastic. Unassuming good food prepared with care and competence.
        We will be back!"
